Waterfront

Mr. Glick directed the concept master planning process for Metro Parks. He led the design team through a multi-phase planning process, facilitated public workshops and steering committee meetings (including a master plan charette), coordinated technical aspects of the team’s consulting work, including the real estate economist and advisory consultant, and directed development of the master plan concepts leading to the final preferred alternative. The project sought to integrate this project site into the greater Point Defiance waterfront, by linking to an existing waterfront multi-use trail, incorporating a future, adjacent residential community on the site of the former ASARCO plant, and create an inviting waterfront for both Point Defiance Park visitors and the nearby community. Mr. Glick served as Principal-in-Charge of the project for Core Design, Inc., in collaboration with Johnson-Braund Design Group.
