Master Planning

The City of Auburn, WA retained Fred Glick Design PLLC to prepare a Nature Park Master Plan for this 10 acre site on Auburn's west hill. The site consists of native, forested landscape, a 2-acre lake, a great deal of wildlife and vegetation. Unknown to most of the public, even those who have resided in Auburn for decades, this site is located in the midst of several single family residential neighborhoods and has been used by a limited number of visitors for short-range trail hiking within walking distance of their homes. Fred first developed a site inventory of existing conditions, prepared an issues and opportunities plan and master plan concept for a public meeting, coordinated the public meeting and presentation, and revised the master plan for presentation to the City Council and Planning Commission.
