Lake Tapps Park and Recreation Area

Fred Glick served as Principal-in-Charge for the Lake Tapps recreation area analyses, master planning, site design, environmental evaluations, wetlands mitigation, shoreline modifications, site circulation studies and design recommendations. Project included water quality and fisheries issues and recommendations as well as public involvement meetings for addressing this 2,000 acre lake’s public access area surrounded by residential properties. Several key issues included: future resolution of the PGE dam, public swimming beach and in-water public safety, boat launch facilities, floating docks, public parking and motor vehicle circulation, and wetlands impacts.
