"Mr. Glick’s most recent work on the Northeast Los Angeles Linkages project has now established a new standard for the City for generating a comprehensive approach to fairly large-scale urban planning."
—Carlos Rios, Project Engineer, City of Los Angeles, CA [Northeast Los Angeles Linkages Master Plan]

Northeast Los Angeles Linkages Phase 5 served as the Urban Design Master Plan for the Arroyo Seco Parkway communities in NE Los Angeles. The master plan consisted of 17 square miles within 11 Northeast Los Angeles neighborhoods. Mr. Glick served as Project Manager in collaboration with Los Angeles City Council Member Ed Reyes, Council District 1, and Council Member Antonio Villaraigosa, LADOT managed the contract; funding was arranged through a planning grant from Caltrans, LADOT, and LA Metro. The project goal was to develop a comprehensive linkages plan responding to multi-modal transportation needs for the Arroyo Seco Parkway communities. The work links the Parkway Corridor to the Metro Gold Line Stations and other destinations, and is highlighted with four key plan recommendations that include: Parkway Connections; Parks and Open Space; Pedestrian and Bicycle Circulation; and Transit System Improvements. These plans are supported with site-specific Demonstration Area Illustrations that are prototypical in nature.
