Sycamore Avenue Pedestrian Bridge

Los Angeles, CA

The Sycamore Avenue Pedestrian Bridge was conceived as a safe, inviting linkage between two neighborhoods separated by the Arroyo Seco River and Parkway in northeast Los Angeles. Frequented by a diverse population, this location within the Arroyo Seco Corridor is frequented by school children and others looking for a safe route between their neighborhoods, schools and other cultural and retail destinations. Generated as one of several development area illustrations as part of the Northeast LA Linkages Urban Design Master Plan, this concept design was supervised by Fred Glick in association with other team members.
