Transit Oriented Development
Stockton Intermodal Transportation Facility
The Feasibility and Needs Assessment study consisted of developing a viable intermodal station location and urban design concept for the City of Stockton, entitled the Weber Street East End Redevelopment. Mr. Glick led the design team in development of the urban design concept and site planning for the facility. The effort included a land use planning analysis, evaluation of the potential for intensified development, identification of the visual character of the 40-block surrounding environment, and determining how the intermodal station should be visually and functionally integrated into the community. The north-south rail corridor shown, was an existing rail alignment that became an early vision how for the California High Speed Rail link to the City of Stockton could affect this area within the downtown Stockton area.
