Transit Oriented Development

Mount Baker Station • Transit Oriented Development

Seattle, WA

The Mount Baker Station transit oriented development is located across Rainier Avenue from the Mount Baker LRT Station in south Seattle. Conceived as a two-tower, mid-rise complex connected by a green roof spanning the Metro bus transfer facility, the towers are six stories in height, enclosing 270,000 s.f. of mixed use development. The project contains ground floor retail, one level of underground parking and some first floor parking, and five stories of residential above. The green roof provides common space, recreation opportunities, stormwater detention, and pedestrian circulation between the two structures. Mr. Glick assembled the development team, led the urban design process, and facilitated communications between the team and Sound Transit TOD staff.
