Landscape Architecture

This home is currently under construction near the southern tip of Mercer Island. Beckes Homes is undertaking this project on a steep hillside leading down to Lake Washington near the southern tip of the Island. With spectacular views of Mount Rainier, the site plan and landscape design are intended to allow a gracious entry and motor court with a setting of lush Pacific Northwest plantings and rock outcroppings. A stone ramp-step pathway leads around the house to the rear yard, boat dock and lake access. Sculptural stone is utilized in several of the planting beds.
