Mr. Glick led preparation of a series of computer-generated visual simulations for a proposed cogeneration plant along State Route 546 in Sumas, Washington. The images included an existing view of the vacant site along the highway; a view of the proposed new cogeneration plant without visual screening; and a view of the plant showing mature vegetative screening between the highway and the proposed facility. Mature trees were envisioned for consistency with existing conditions along the highway and to assure optimal screening of this large industrial-type of facility. The simulation to the left shows how mature trees will screen most of the view of the cogen plant from the highway.
